PRE-WAR HARRINGTON AND RICHARDSON “SPORTSMAN” .22LR NINE-SHOT DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER, #B4XX, MADE 1941. These were very high quality top break revolvers fitted with adjustable sights and target stocks. Fit and finish were excellent and mechanics were especially tight. This example with six inch barrel retains about all the original blue with only some brown mixing on the front strap just below the trigger guard. Aside from that, this revolver shows little to no use.
