The Walther Party Leader PPK is one of the most sought after and recognizable German WWII pistols. SN:#877044. Cal. 7.65mm. This very early example has a 90 degree safety. Standard features include fixed sights with a shallow matted rib. Left side of slide with the Walther banner followed by the usual address and the “Mod. PPK” designation. Crown/N proofing on exposed chamber and immediately below on slide. Full serial number on right frame. Last three digits scratched by hand in large numerals inside slide. Original Party Leader grip with usual brown/black mottling and inner steel insert. Correct early high polish magazine with six indicator holes marked with Walther Banner on left side. Condition: Over 96% original salt blue and slight thinning as expected from holster wear and careful use. Crisp Party Leader grips with tiny hairline split in usual location under tang. Magazine is in the same condition as the pistol. Bright bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the earliest all original, no excuse Party Leader pistols with matching slide and a super condition grip. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
