Shilo Sharps 1874 Sporter #3 fitted with a 30 inch heavy octagon barrel, semi buckhorn rear sight with ladder, tang sight, double set triggers, walnut forearm with schnabble tip, walnut stock with steel carbine style butt-plate, blue/color case hardened finshed, and chambered in .45-120. This Farmington New York built Sharps 1874 is in very fine original condition, retaining 98% original blue and about 80% color case hardened finish, with most loss/thinning on the right side of the frame, behind the hammer, due to handling. The action functions as new. Due to poor storage there is some minor spotting on the frame and lower tang and about a 2 inch long streak of corrosion in the bore (on one of the lands), approximately 4 inches from the muzzle. The spot is so minor I do not think it would affect accuracy a bit. If your looking for one of these Sharps in .45-120 for hunting, this would be just the gun.
