This is an about mint V42 made by the CASE company during WWII. They are the most desirable and rarest of all issued American military side knives. The First Special Service Force made up of Americans and Canadians was the beginning of all special forces. Only about 3600 knives were manufactured. To find one in minty condition is really rare.
