Description:
Offered is a Colt Sauer rifle chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum that has a fiberglass stock and is equipped with a Redfield 4 X 12 Scope. The rifle was used by me for hunting and is extremely accurate. I had the rifle changed to a fiberglass stock with the Pachmayr Decelerator pad to eliminate some of the weight of the original stock and the original stock showed a couple of small cracks behind the tang. This McMillan stock has lost some of its surface wood grain finish from hunting however it is as strong as the day it was made. The action and barrel remain like new and while it was used for hunting it was not shot that much and always taken care of. These extremely smooth bolt actions are made by J.P. Sauer & Sohn in West Germany. The Redfield scope is a 4 X 12 power with the adjustable objective lens and is a wonderful scope and sets in the original Colt Sauer rings & mounts. The rifle has been Magna-Ported to eliminate much of the recoil. I have included the original stock as well as a large selection of ammo. The ammo includes 135 rounds that were loaded by Superior Ammo along with another 50 once fired brass caseings for reload. This is an outstanding hunting rifle that will last a lifetime. Due to my age my hunting days are past so its time for the rifle to go to a new home. If you end up with this rifle you won’t be disappointed. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped in a hard case via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires an FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
