Description:
This is a very nice second variation, all matching ac41, P38 that was manufactured in approx July of 1941. Toward the end of WW2 it was captured on the Eastern Front, dipped with a protective coating and put into storage. Unlike most of the "Russian Capture", German small arms this one DOESN'T have the dreaded "X" on any part of the gun. It is import marked on the bottom of the slide ( SEE PHOTOS ). This P38 has retained ALL of it's serial numbered parts. And, all of the components of this pistol that should be proofed with the "eagle/359" are proofed! So, other than being dipped this P38 appears to be the same as when it left the factory. Even the inside of the grips have the "eagle/359" proof on them. All of the marking edges are sharp which denotes that this P38 hasn't had any buffing done to the steel. Please check out the photos to see now nice this P38 is...
