This is the original prototype that was made for the Colt Camp Perry .22 caliber single shot target pistol and is the first example ever built by Colt. This gun was made in 1912 and is the only one ever made in double action. It remains in the white and is exactly like it was in 1912. This is the only example that was made before WWI and then the project was reinstated after the war was over. I have collected the Colt Camp Perry single shot target pistols for the last 40 years and this gun has been part of that collection for many years. The gun remained at the factory until the 1960’s when the late R.L. Wilson discovered it and it then went into the Robert Sutherland collection for many years. This gun is for the advanced collector and for those who are interested please call and I can give a lot of detail. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
