Here we have a very nice example of a Smith & Wesson Regulation Police chambered in .38 S&W. The gun was likely a gift, or perhaps a retirement present, as the grips have a pair of silver plates inlaid on the bottom, although the inscription is too faint to be easily read. Overall, a fine specimen of Smith & Wesson's smaller I frame revolvers.
