Scarce H&R Reising M60 rifle, modeled after the select fire versions issued to the Military, production limited to 3248 examples made in 1944-46, with spare magazine. SN: 2410. Cal: .45ACP. Standard configuration M60 with post front sight and peep rear sight with 5 settings for spring tensioned elevation. 18 ¼” barrel. Top of receiver marked “MODEL 60-H&R REISING-CAL. 45” over the Harrington & Richardson address mentioning manufacturer, location, and patent pending. Right side of receiver marked with serial number, “SAFE” and “S.A.” Bolt is actuated via an extension accessible through a cutout in the forearm. Further back is an extended magazine housing with release and large screw that secures action to stock. Stamped trigger guard is secured by three screws. Paired sling swivels and metal butt plate. Accompanied by two original H&R Reising magazines each marked for the selective fire Model 50. Condition: Near excellent original parkerized finish with screw slot burring as pictured.
