Description:
This is a custom,solid black walnut case that was made for 3 antique cartridge derringers. It has a bullet block that will hold 7 .41 Rimfire cartridges and 2 covered compartments, both with solid, pre-ban ivory knobs. In addition there are 2 open compartments for tools and a 3rd open compartment for a period oiler. This case is also shown below as it appeared in "The Civil War and the Firearms Trade" (page 238) with a Moore, Brown and Colt Derriner, solid ivory handled tools, a silver oiler and 7 rounds in the ammo block. The derringers, tools, oiler and ammo are NOT INCLUDED.
The case measures 14" x 10" x 4 3/8".
