Savage model 99G in 300 Savage.Built in 1931,this rifle has the very rare W.F.Sheard 3 leaf express rear sight.The rifle is in excellent all original condition.It retains 98% of the original blue and wood finish.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The 24" barrel has a mint bore with sharp rifling.In addition to the Sheard sight,the rifle has a Lyman peep sight and a Savage front sight.The rifle retains the original steel buttplate.This is an all original classic 99 with an extremely rare sight.C&R eligible.
