Description:
Up for sale is a beautiful Pre 64 Winchester. Not only is this a great pre 64 rifle it is a transition model. This will bring a bit of a premium over the later Type III Winchester Pre 64 model 70. The caliber roll mark and the rabbit’s foot safety are characteristics found on early model 70’s. The tang on the receiver is found on the more common Type III pre 64 model 70. The bore is in excellent condition. The receiver is drilled and tapped from the factory. There is a very nice vintage Redfield 2-7 mounted in steel rings. The barrel and action have a very high degree of original condition bluing reaming, with some edge wear on the carry points. The stock looks to have a coat of varnish added at some point, this should not be a deal breaker. This will make an excellent shooting investment.

I stock a vast array of Caesar Guerini, Fabarm, Syren, Blaser, Merkel, Nighthawk Custom, Cabot Gun and many more vintage guns too. It is impossible for me to list everything I will special order you anything your heart desires. Thanks for looking.
