Description:
HUNTSMAN, .22 LONG RIFLE SEMI-AUTO PISTOL WITH 4 ½” BARREL, #063XXX S, MADE 1974. This model was the same as the famed Woodsman series, but made with a simple blade front sight along with a fixed notch rear sight which could be drifted in the dovetail for windage adjustment. This example has seen some holster and handling wear to the blue, but shows no abuse. The blue on the grip straps is dulling a little, but is all there. Shows minor edge wear only with fine original checkered walnut grips and original Colt marked magazine. Mechanically tight with bright bore, lots of life left in this one. These fine pistols were discontinued in 1977. They make wonderful field/holster guns. All blued steel and walnut. There’s just not much made today that compares.
