Swiss Bern ZFK 31/55, all matching including magazine, Kern Scope and can with armorers kit and correct sling. SN: 4443 Cal: 7.5x 55. Standard configuration ZFK 31/55, one of approximately 5000 such rifles, an evolution of the K31 /42 and K31/43 sniper rifles, this one with telescopic sights, heavy barrel, flash suppressor/muzzle brake and center-mounted foldable bipod. In addition to the standard K31 rear sight calibrated from 1-15, these guns were fitted with a quick detachable 3.5 power Kern telescopic sight, with serial numbering on top surface, whose reticle includes a thick central post with two horizontal hairs. The receiver has a Swiss “cross over chamber” with full serial number on left receiver and bolt. Matching barrel and magazine whose base is marked “Zf. Kar. 4443”. Khaki green scope can with top numbered to scope and dual set of belt loops. Inside the can is screwdriver for scope caps. Complete with a dark green canvas armorers kit, labeled for the ZFK 55 and compartmentalized for components of bolt, cocking knob, trigger, extractors (2), rear sight, screwdriver and separate leather pouch, also marked for the ZFK, internally dated “56” that contains a variety of small parts still in the factory plastic bag. Condition: VG+ overall with original finish blue, areas of fading, scuffs and superficial dings as one would expect from a service rifle that has seen light-moderate use. Nicely white highlighted scope markings with bright optics. Good condition sling. Mirror bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A very nice and complete ZFK 31/55, perfect for the range or advanced Swiss collection, particularly with the minty armorers kit. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
