Description:
****SPF***This is a very handsome Colt, .45 SAA, made in 1901, with 4 3/4" barrel.....it is a bit interesting as it has 2 Colt factory marks...a K on the front of the right trigger guard, and a & on the back right of the trigger guard.....It retains 95% beautiful Colt blue with about 20% case color on a clean silvering frame, with some fire blue on some of the screws...the original grips are excellent and fit perfectly,,...all numbers match, the hammer has quite an amount of case colors and of a later gen 1 vintage, late teens, early 1920's i believe......the factory assembly numbers 361 were noted under the ejector shroud, front of the cylinder and on the grip frame and trugger guard under the grips....Apparently , it went back to colt for refinishing/repair.....the bore is mirror bright with early lands and grooves, action works perfectly, and is quite a beautiful gun overall...c&r ok
