Description:
This is a beautiful all-original Husqvarna Hi-Power rifle chambered in the powerful 9.3x62mm cartridge.  Manufactured from 1946 to 1951, the Hi-Power rifle features a strong Mauser 98 action and was offered in multiple calibers.  This bolt-action repeater features factory blue finish on the metal, a case-colored bolt release lever, a 3-position bolt-mounted safety, a 24" inch sporting profile barrel with factory iron sights, a two-piece triggerguard and removable floorplate, and a European Walnut stock with a checkered pistol grip.  This particular example has obviously lived a very easy life and remains in excellent overall condition.  The original blue is in beautiful condition and shows little to no wear or handling marks, the bore is mirror-bright with strong rifling, and the stock is in great shape and free from any cracks, chips, or repairs.  The cock-on-opening action is slick and extremely smooth, and the bolt turns into battery perfectly with no grit or slop.  This rifle has never been drilled and tapped for optics.  The two stage trigger is excellent, breaking crisply at the 2nd stage without any excessive travel or weight.  All of the controls on this rifle are in perfect working order.  We have no doubt that it will perform just as well today as the day it left the factory almost 70 years ago.  The 9.3x62mm chambering in this rifle is really sought-after as one of the first big and dangerous game cartridges. To this day it still meets most minimum requirements for dangerous game in Africa.  This ammunition can still be bought easily online, and we have 3 full boxes of Lapua ammo for sale for $25 per box, as well as 20rds of once-fired brass.  If you have been looking for a really cool vintage European rifle to add to your collection this Husqvarna Hi-Power would be an excellent choice.  It is very seldom that we see this model in such good condition, and even rarer still to find one in this neat caliber that is this clean and all-original.
