This ac 41 series P38 was manufactured mid-September 1941 and the pistol has all matching parts. Included with the pistol are two steel magazines and leather holster, no doubt serving in WWII.
Both of the included magazines are from ac series P38 pistols but have different serial numbers. The holster is the soft shell style and comes from another P38 manufactured in 1944 and retains all proofs despite clear evidence of long term use.
There is slight pitting on the slide and minimal putting on the barrel and frame. The grips are of Bakelite and the specimen has retained 65% of the original blueing. 100% of the components of this pistol that should be proofed with the "eagle/359" are proofed including magazines and holster. All of the marking edges are sharp with no evidence of buffing and the internals have minimal wear.
This is a beautiful pistol that has survived the test of time. Make it a part of your collection today!
