Description:
Made in 1894, this gorgeous early Grade 4E remains in excellent all original condition.  The gun features 32" steel barrels.  Splinter forend with engraved banjo roll type release is checkered in point pattern with ebony tip.  The buttstock has a beautiful "Creedmore" pistol grip, is checkered in a fine pattern through the wrist and terminates with the original hardened silvers pad.  On the top of the heel, there is an engraved gold shield with the initials "BC" I believe.  The case hardened frame is beautifully engraved with Setter on left, Pointer on right in game scene with scroll.  Trigger guard with two quail on bow.  Fences are nicely beaded.

Overall this gun remains in outstanding untouched original condition.  The stocks are sound and retain more than 95% of their original untouched finish.  The frame is beautiful and untouched and retains about 80% bright original case colors.  The barrels retain about 85% original blue with 5 or 6 spots of thumbnail sized thinning.  Bores are brilliant and shiny.  Mechanics are crisp.

It would be almost impossible to find a nicer and cleaner early L.C. Smith than this gun.  It is priced at $4995 shipped to you with insurance included.  Please dont hesitate to contact me with any questions or reasonable offers on this gun at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site.
