Action woeks good and the nipple is very clean Always best to make sure the bore is empty, and asemble a cap and fire to clear the nipp,e and then do it again before oading and shooting, but wait a cou,e minuts before pouring pos]wder down the bore in case there are still glowing sparks down there.es with a vbrown rubber recoil pad. The lock is engraved and looks much like a Thompson Center. Gun is 100% original blue and the wood stock appears to be tiger stripe European walnut. A very fine gun that looms un-used and about new. With a couple very minor shallow dings from storage that are insugnificant. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
