Hammerguns - This is a classic French Lefaucheux action with English nitro proofs. The interesting thing is that it was certainly made in France, Germany, or perhaps Belgium but we can find nothing but the English nitro proofs on the gun. Their is no makers name on the gun.
There is some minor pitting in the bores but nothing really deep. The wall thickness is massive so one could have it back bored to remove the pitting or shoot it the way it is.
This is a very attractive and quality hammer double for this kind of money.
