Description:
This .45 caliber Rupp rifle has a browned octagon 13/16" x 38" barrel with a 1:66 twist and fitted with fixed sights. The bore is very good. Inscribed on the top flat is R Southgate and stamped on the tang is 672. The P++ grade Maple stock is mounted with brass furniture, including an engraved patch box, Hunter's Star in the cheek piece and three tear drop inlays. Simple but tasteful carving enhances the butt stock around the cheek piece. The engraved Maslin style flint lock with R Southgate inscribed on the brass plate is activated by a single trigger. Length of pull is 13-3/4", overall length is 53", weight is 7.4 lbs. Very good wood to metal fit - made by R Southgate. Condition: Very Good. Our stock number is P-29-47.
