Description:
Serial number 84096 matches on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. Comes with a Colt Archive letter confirming features as a .38/c caliber with a 3 1/2" barrel length in nickel finish with stocks not-listed. The letter shows this revolver shipped to Simmons Hardware in St. Louis, MO. on July 7th, 1891 as part of a shipment of 25 guns. The stocks are original, hard rubber that are in very good condition and fit properly. The action functions properly in both single and double action with good lock up. The bore is very good. There is a high percentage of nickel remaining throughout with a beautiful fire blue back of hammer and trigger. All factory applied markings are sharp and clear. Price includes insurance and shipping to the continental United States where legal. A three day inspection is offered with full refund if returned unfired in the same condition.
