This is a Turnbull Commander Heritage Model 1911, as featured and reviewed by Gun Digest and Handloader. The Commander models come standard with beaver tail grip safety, steel parts, charcoal blued slide, double diamond walnut grips, commander-style hammer and standard 4.25” barrel. This Heritage example features color case hardened frame, checkered front strap and Novak 3-dot sights.
This new Model 1911 includes two magazines and a molded plastic case. Every Turnbull manufactured Model 1911 is 100% hand fit.
