Description:
Overall condition of this attractive rifle is very good. The finish on the metal is very clean with some minor handling marks; but there are some lines that ring the barrel just forward of the final barrel taper. They can be seen in the right light but not felt. The finish on the wood is in very good condition as well with some very minor scuffs to the finish and other handling marks (see pictures for the most significant one). Standard features of Weatherby's Mark V line include a fluted bolt body; a feature that reduces bolt weight and helps to eliminate binding. A 54-degree bolt life gives both the scope and the user clearance to avoid damage. Combine these with attractive furniture and styling and you can perform as good as you look.
