The regiment arrived in North Carolina in April 1776 for service in the American Revolutionary War.[9] It fought at the Battle of Long Island in August 1776,[9] the Battle of White Plains in October 1776[10] and the Battle of Fort Washington in November 1776.[10] It saw further action during the Philadelphia campaign at the Battle of Brandywine in September 1777[11] the Battle of Paoli also in September 1777[12] and the Battle of Germantown in October 1777 Brown Bess Flintlock Muskets and Officers Fusils by Richard Wilson's first contracts with the East India Company date back to 1733, and after he died in 1766, business with the company was carried on by the firm.
