Description:
Very scarce, Texas shipped, Sheriff’s Model Colt Single Action Army in .45 caliber, with a 4” barrel and beautiful aged pearl grips with lots of fire. This is a first generation Colt with serial number 162338 that matches on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. There’s only a small amount of blue left with the rest of the metal a nice untouched, natural patina. The Colt comes with an archive letter that indicates it shipped to J.S. Dunlay Hardware company in Houston, TX on April 27th, 1896. The action works perfectly and the bore is very good. Price includes insurance and shipping to the continental United States where legal.
