Description:
Parker GHE 20 gauge SxS shotgun made in early 1923. It is configured exactly as shown in the Parker Book: 20 gauge, 30” barrels, ejectors, capped pistol grip stock and double triggers. It has had a fairly recent full restoration by Bachelder gun makers and remains in 99% condition since restoration. The “G” grade engraving on the “O” size frame is nicely executed and finished with subtle colors. The 30” barrels have very ample .035” wall thicknesses with .618 bores. The right barrel has .012” choke constriction and the left barrel at .018” constriction which in everyday nomenclature is Modified/Improved Modified chokes. The pistol grip stock has a 13 ¾” LOP over the Dogs Head Buttplate with 1 3/8” DAC and 2 3/8” DAH with neutral cast. The gun weighs 6 lbs. 5 oz. and handles nicely between the hands. This is a very handsome Parker in a nice configuration.
