Glen Marshall's Marshall-Lang Award- 1988 is the only version of the famous A.F.F.S. Camp Model reviewed in Knives illustrated in the October 1997 issue. It is a scale down version of the prototype seen in the magaizine. It bears the unique " MARSHALL-LANG AWARD- 1988 etching on the right side of the blade along with the original name/last of the recipient (not shown for privacy purposes). Blade is 6-3.8" by 1-14" . It comes with a hand tooled basket weave leather scabbard with inital carving made by this great late knifemaker. Handle are black micarta scales with stainless steel pins. Full tang constructed model of the highest quality as one might expect from Glen. There is some very fancy file work on the spine (top) as seen in the prototype. Price is firm.
