Description:

This rare 16 ga. hammer gun was made in England, around 1910, by G & S Holloway of Birmingham...The 30" fluid steel barrels are choked full and full. 2 3/4" chambers with excellent bright shiny bores...This is a stoutly built gun, with double under lugs and a greener cross bolt...14 3/8" length of pull, with 1 1/2 and 2 3/4" drops...Weighs just under 7 pounds...Interestingly, the top rib is engraved: "G.& S. Holloway. Imperial Works. Birmingham. Specially Made For Alcott & Pierce. Melbourne.", as in Australia...This gun has no mechanical issues and is in very fine overall shooting condition...Barrels have been recently polished and blued by master gunsmith, Lou Rotelli of Connecticut...Checkering is worn, but still functional...Overall, this is a good looking and nice shooting 16 gauge hammer gun, from the pre ww1 era of fine gun making in England...Ship to ffl or c&r only...
