Smith & Wesson Airweight Bodyguard, .38 Special. This 5 shot, J frame, 2" barrel, shrouded hammer revolver is in very good condition. This revolver serial number range, and lack of a model number stamp would appear to have been produced between 1955-56 time frame. This old "humpback" hasn't been abused, much less shot much over time. Diamond stocks look original, but are not numbered to the gun. Finish on the side plate is a little dull, but not detracting. No box or papers, so not white glove collector condition. But, here's one you can slip in your pocket, and carry on! Action is tight and in time. If you're not familiar with this revolver, the hammer is shrouded, but can still be cocked for single action, if you prefer. Nice example that wasn't necessarily tucked in a climate controlled safe for the last 60 plus years. There is no box, papers, just the revolver as you see it. NO SALES WHERE PROHIBITED.
