Description:
Colt 1911 Early Argentine Military Contract made in 1915 according to Colt archive. In 1915, Argentina ordered 1,000 Colt M1911 pistols. The serial number range was C20,001 to C21,000, with serial number marked on the frame. The pistols were also numbered from 1 to 1,000 on top of the slide. To determine matching slide and frame, subtract 20,000 from the number on the frame. Therefore, this is an all matching pistol that falls into the correct serial number range. These pistols are extremely rare and hard to find. Original finish, not import marked, no rust or pitting on metal, no cracks on grips, great bore, functions fine.
