Description:
Springfield Armory Model of 1922 M-2 Target Rifle in .22LR. SN #5729. Mfg. in 1937. Barrel dated 6/37. LOP 13 1/4". 5 shot magazine. 24 1/2" barrel with an excellent , bright bore with strong rifling. Original wood is in excellent condition and shows the #7 on the bottom of the modified pistol grip and the SA Springfield Armory cartouche on the stock. The blued metal finish is in very good condition for the age of the gun. Features an excellent Lyman rear peep sight and original leather sling. 12,000 produced from 1933-1943.
