Description:
This is a Mannilcher Schoenaure model 1950, manufactured in Austria (not import marked) in 270 Winchester, with a 24" barrel. The Redfield (made in USA) 2x-7x scope is mounted with the Griffin and Howe quick disconnect side mount system. The scope mounting screws are below the stock line and not visible outside the rifle. The stock has not been inletted for this mount and the factory steel filler plate is included should you prefer an open site configuration. No holes have been drilled in the receiver anywhere else. The stock has handling marks from use and life in a gunsafe. There is one professionally done repair to the lower part of the cheek rest. The stock is in overall good condition with no cracks. The rifle shows thinning of the bluing in the following areas: trigger guard, magazine floor plate, bolt handle, top of barrel between the front sight and barrel attachment ring, bolt release, firing pin safety latch, safety switch. This rifle was manufactured for the European market as evidenced by the blue in lieu of shiny finish on the bolt. The rifle shows NO import markings or rebranding. Scope and mount show no finish wear.
I have attempted to photograph the rifle in detail. Examine them closely as most if not all of the defects are visible. Ask any questions you like. Payment will be expected in USPS Money Order. SHIPPING by USPS Priority Mail. Shipping and insurance is buyer's expense.
