Description:
For your consideration is a "Postage Stamp" International Harvestor DCM rifle sold December, 1984 with Provenance, MRT sling, CMP owner's manual and 2 new clips. This Garand was a "once in a lifetime" rifle until 1995 when rifles began returning from foreign countries. This M1 has a LMR(Line Material Corp) barrel dated 5 53 with a ME of 1.9 and a bright, excellent bore. All major parts are marked IHC and include the trigger housing, windage knob, trigger, operating rod, hammer, bolt and gas cylinder plug. The stock has the proper DOD cartouche that was struck on it's side(it happened), a circle P on the grip and Julian date 3502 inside of the barrel channel. The stock was manufactured by the S. E. Overton Company on Dec 15, 1952. The stock and handguards are nicely color matching and the metal is outstanding. I test fired this rifle some years ago and it operated flawlessly. $1900 buy it now delivered fully insured to your FFL/C&R, $50 rebate for First Responders and Veterans.
