Up for sale is a Very nice example of an early Civil War issued Smith Carbine. This carbine is in nice original condition. The wood has some pressure marks but no major breaks or cracks. Bore is frosty but shows nice rifling. Nice visible cartouche. Some Smith carbines close to this serial number have been identified to Company L-Alambama Cavalry- (10111) (10280). It is likely this one was in the same batch. Nice tight gun. Operates as it should. Priced to sell quick!
