Description:
Smith and Wesson Model 46 .22 Long Rifle, seven inch target barrel, ramp front blade sight with fully adjustable rear sight for elevation and windage. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Frame shows blue wear on the front grip and in front of the trigger guard. Some light pitting is visible on the right hand side. The barrel shows some light wear on the edges and some light blemishes. Factory checkered brown plastic wrap-around grip with finger and thumb rest shows some light scratches and marks. The Smith & Wesson 46 was known as the economy version of the 41. Smith & Wesson built this handgun from 1959 to 1968 with around 4000 built.
