Description:
Up for sale is a colt lightning in good condition. The gun was late 1800's and has British and US proof marks. Gun functions and fires with no issues. The forearm was cracked at some point and repaired, but a hair line fracture is still visible. The bluing is spotty with lots of patina and the prancing horse is visible with close inspection on the receiver. This is not a museum piece, but a shooter and good representation of the colt rifle. This gun has 24 inch round barrel. Colt's shows the year of production as 1897. This gun is also listed for sale locally.
