I selectively buy and sell newer firearms which augment the existing collection and support the historic nature of U.S. manufactured firearms. Description: Offered for sale is this rare seven shot Open Top Colt "Old LIne" pocket revolver in very good condition. Noteworthy are the varnished walnut grips, brass frame plus nickel barrel and cylinder. There are some signs of age on the nickel surfaces but all metal parts are in very good to excellent condition. Trigger pull, cylinder timing and hammer action are all very good. Serial numbers on the barrel underlug and grip strap match and have been verified with Colt for authenticity. The original Colt patent dates back to 1860 and this model was produced in several models from 1871 to 1872. For the collector of Colt firearms or antique revolvers this is a must have.
