In 98% very crisp condition we have a rare and seldom seen 1928 Production, DWM Alphabet Luger in the “r” Block which bears C/N proofs, TP and E/33 marked barrel and the Police Sear Safety. It has 2 matching Haenel Schmeisser Type 1 Police Magazines and a Tan Rural Police holster that was converted from a LP .08 Artillery Luger Holster. The caliber is of course 9mm and the bore is mint. The pistol is completely matching and is a textbook example of a New Manufactured Wiemar Era Police Luger, it is not a rework. These were among the very few of the Alphabet type Lugers that were not commercial, as almost all were. This Luger certainly served continuously into the Nazi era, and could easily have been issued to one of the SS Militarized Police Formations Such as the SS Polizei Division or an Einsatz Gruppen. This was a WW2 vet bring back and a treasured war Trophy and a top example of a Police Luger of the era.
