Description:
Vintage German made shotgun. Gorgeous engraving of game birds and geese. Color case hardened frame and good blueing on barrels. This is a very rare high grade firearm. Griefelt and Co Suhl manufactured before WWII. Approx 1939. This a 12 guage chambered for 2 5/8 but can shoot 2 3/4.
The Over/under has nicely figured straight wrist stock. It handles like a dream. Points amazing and hits where it's pointing. The barrels are 26" choked to Modified and Improved Cylinder I believe but I can put a micrometer on them if needed. Comes in a beautiful leather hard case. Made for a takedown shotgun. Always stored after dry firing with snap caps to ensure hammer springs are not damaged.
