Murata Type 22 8x53R caliber rifle. Scarce Japanese military bolt action repeater. Not many of these survived the 1930’s as Japan needed steel. Serial numbers are matching, except for the floor plate. Bore has strong rifling with frosting. Stock has a cartouche and a small crack near tang. Good-very good overall condition. A seldom seen military rifle.
