High Condition 1926 Colt SAA. Beautiful Colt Single Action Army in 45 Cal. with 7 1/2" bbl.
SN's 348454 matching on frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and last 2 numbers on cylinder.
Factory letter confirms features and shows shipment to Shapleigh Hardware Company, St. Louis.
Original condition is very fine. All markings are sharp and clear. Bbl and ejector housing retain 95+% original blued finish with only slight high point wear to muzzle and ejector rod. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Trigger guard and backstrap retain 95% blued finish with some minor wear marks on forward grip and backstrap. Cylinder retains 95% blued finish with slight drag line between cylinder stops. Frame and hammer show 98% case color finish. Grips are marked 356836, not original to gun but period correct with perfect fit. Grips are fine with sharp checkering and no losses. Mechanics are crisp with tight lock up. Beautiful Colt SAA specially ordered in 1926.
