Description:
Up for your consideration is an 1879 Springfield Trapdoor carbine. This carbine is in nice shape and operates as it should. Serial number 133,400. Comes with original Mckeever box that was found stored with the rifle and believed to have been a set at their time of use. The one down side in this nice old carbine is the buttplate is loose and the screws that hold it on are loose so this will need some attention. The carbine is in great shape otherwise and probably has a great history behind it.
