Parker Reproductions are for those who want a modern technology gun that is distinctly Parker. Faithful to the original design, the workmanship is impeccable, and the guns retain the dependability and handling characteristics so loved by owners of vintage Parkers. With modern steels and manufacturing techniques the Parker Repro is a wonderfully made gun designed for generations of use. The 12ga. guns were only produced 1988-1989 with 1800 total 12ga. DHE's made. This gun, sn12-01011 with outstanding, and surprising handling characteristics, is NEW AND UNFIRED IN THE ORIGINAL LEATHER CASE WITH CANVAS COVER. Weighing only 7lbs. 2oz. and balanced dead on the hinge pin with the 28" barrels, a single selective trigger, and classy beavertail forend, this is a gorgeous American classic side by side shogun you can carry all day without fatigue. Shipped with the reliable Parker Single Selective trigger and 14 1/4" LOP to the rear trigger position, it has a long stock as well. The stock is very well figured with notable fiddleback figure showing light refraction at different angles. This gun represents a versatile Parker Reproduction that is an investment grade firearm that can be used and enjoyed for decades to come. Look at the photo showing the standing breech of the action…there are no primer marks. The metal is in 100% factory condition with perfect screws. There are very few unfired Parker Reproductions to be found after 30 years since the end of production. The gun is built on the 1 ½ frame with M/F chokes. What a gun for pheasants, waterfowl, turkey, doves, and clay target games. Capable of shooting any 2 3/4" modern shells, INCLUDING THE MANY CHOICES OF SOFT NON-TOXIC SHOT, no special considerations are required when buying ammunition.
