Description:
A Vintage Classic double loop Holster for a 4 3/4 or 5 1/2 inch barreled Colt Single Action army revolver. Also fits my 6 inch barreled S&W double action. Maker is not know, but I think it was made about 1890 to 1910. This right hand holster features a rope pattern stamping and a full pouch framing skirt with straight loops. The main seam is machines sewn. Made of dark russet colored skirting leather. The piece has a gracefully re-curved throat profile. The skirt show 4 rivet hope and two hole for a leg tie down, these do not detract from the holster when wore. Has very nice age patina with no rips or tear. The leather is soft and pliable and will provide a century of service for your old Colt or give you Colt clone the look of yesteryear. My Colt is not included.
