For sale is a San Antonio Police Department issued .45/c. Gun was shipped on October 18, 1927 on a 50 gun shipment to Police Headquarters San Antonio, Tx. The pistol has S.A.P.D. #41 on the butt. I was able to make contact with Bill Gibson (retired SAPD Police Chief) who had the records on the gun. It was issued to Officer John Roberts on 11/25/1927. Officer Roberts was a Motorcycle Cop (Chief Gibson did not have his badge #) Great gun with an amazing amount of history. Gun was professionally resotored prior to my purchase of the firearm.
