Description:
Antique British Flintlock Light Dragoon Pistol, approx. .69 caliber, 9" barrel, 15" overall, wood stock with brass furniture, brass tipped steel ramrod. Lock is marked "(crown)/GR".
Barrel and parts of the lock are moderately pitted, heavier and more highly concentrated on the barrel. Hairline cracks are present on the left side of the stock at the sideplate screws and forend but remains solid. Brass shows moderate toning. Mechanically very good, hammer and trigger operate smoothly. Overall condition is good showing signs of age and military use.
