Description:
This Colt Single Action Army is serial number 205245 that matches on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. Comes with a Colt Archive letter that confirms its features as a .44/c caliber, 4 3/4” barrel, blue finish and stocks are not listed which is normal for a gun with standard rubber stocks. It was shipped on February 5, 1901 to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company in Chicago Illinois as part of a 3 gun shipment. The action functions flawlessly, with tight lock up and the bore is good. There is a good amount of original blue and case colors throughout. All factory applied markings are clear and crisp. The hard rubber grips fit very well although the screw has been over tightened and drew them in a little. They are probably original to the gun. Price includes insurance and shipping to your FFL dealer in the continental United States where legal. A three day inspection is offered with full refund if returned unfired in the same condition.
