A copy of the factory letter accompanies this awesome Pre Model 26 confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on July 14, 1952 to H.H. Harris in Chicago, Illinois. This investment grade Model of 1950 Target is equipped with a 6 1/2” barrel, original satin blue finish and checkered walnut diamond magna grips. Note this crisp .45 ACP Model 1950 Target comes in the original numbers matching grey box with the Helpful Hints brochure, cleaning rod and tissue wrap.
The gun remains in outstanding condition and retains virtually 99% of the original satin blue finish which shows only the faintest of collector-type handling evidence. The checkered walnut diamond magna grips are every bit as crisp and sharp as the gun itself. Overall a top shelf Pre-26 that will have a special place in any collection.
