Built in 1946 this scarce 1st Year K-22 Masterpiece AKA Pre Model 17 is equipped with a 6” barrel, original satin blue finish and the numbers matching checkered walnut diamond magna sharp shoulder grips. Note the LERK (Large ejector rod knob), narrow rib barrel and one-line frame address. This amazing comes in the original gold picture box with the tissue wrap and the unused cleaning tools.
The gun remains in truly outstanding condition and retains 99%+ of the original satin blue finish showing only the faintest collector-type handling evidence. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. Overall a top-shelf and serious investment grade K-22 that will have a special place in any collection!
